Dan Arbel is CEO and owner of Dan Arbel Risk Engineering Ltd.
Outline of Dan Arbel experience:
I graduated in 1966 with Bsc Mechanical Engineering in the Technion, Haifa, ISRAEL. Following was a service of 3 years in the Israeli Air Force.
Research: During 1970-1994 in the Israeli Metal Institute, I was involved in research in motor vehicle engineering, stress analysis of dynamic structures and mechanical and structural failure investigation. I also wrote publication about Ergonomics of passengers in Buses and about Fatigue Strength of welded structures.
Loss Adjustment: During 1994-1979 I switched to Loss Adjustment and Risk surveys for the Insurance industry.
Insurance Services and Risk Management: In the decade ending in 1989 I was employed by a major Insurance Agency that arranged coverage of insurance for major industries clients.
That included preparation of underwriters’ reports, direct contact with major reinsurers in Europe, England and the USA, placing coverage and closing ends with domestic Insurers.
During this period I worked with FM and IRI engineers, a work that planted the seed of my involvement in Fire Protection Engineering.
In 1989 I setup my own business. Since then we provide Risk Management Services.
